Melissa Errico to Bring Sondheim Sublime Concert to London | Playbill

International News Melissa Errico to Bring Sondheim Sublime Concert to London The Tony nominee will cross the pond to sing Stephen Sondheim favorites from her new album in May.
Melissa Errico Marc J. Franklin

Melissa Errico will command the spotlight in London once again this spring when she takes the stage at Brasserie Zédel in celebration of her latest album, Sondheim Sublime. The Live at Zédel performances are a continuation of her Sondheim series that played London last year, which featured special guest Julian Ovenden.

Sondheim Sublime, released last fall, is focused on the tender side of the composer. Though he is perhaps best known for his witty and tuneful standards, Errico selected songs that are soulful and romantic. Included on the track list are “Send in the Clowns” from A Little Night Music, the Follies heart-breaker “Losing My Mind,” and “Not While I’m Around,” from Sweeney Todd.

Tickets for this year’s concerts, set for May 6–8 at 7 PM, are available at BrasserieZedel.com.
