Van Peeble's play Ain't Supposed to Die a Natural Death, which received a revival at the Classical Theatre of Harlem in 2004, is currently enjoying an open run at T New York, 240 West 52nd Street, playing on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM. The run began April 7. Alfred Preisser, who directed the Classical Theater production, also directed the new mounting.
The cast includes Kimberlee Monroe, Mo Brown, Jordan Brown, Neil Dawson, Tracy Jack, J. Kyle Manzay, April McCants, John Andrew Morrison, Taharaq Patterson, Charles Rueben, Chudney Sykes, Willie Teacher, James Tolbert, Glenn Turner, Robyn Landiss Walker and Althea Vyfius.
