Presented by Alexander Marshall and Giles Cole, the limited engagement, which features Maven's form of onstage mentalism, will continue through July 1.

In Max Maven: Thinking in Person, according to producers, "the renowned magician whose innovated many of the magical and mentalist effects that are used by other magicians such as David Copperfield, Penn & Teller [and] Siegfried & Roy, sets out to take the audience on a journey to explore some of the mysteries of the human mind and aims to challenge our assumptions of what we think we know with the mystery of what we can't know. It's more than a ruse to amaze with trickery; it's a magic act woven into slivers of metaphysics. Using an advanced (and highly unorthodox) set of psychological principles and techniques, Max is able to discern the thoughts of total strangers. Subliminal persuasion and the power of suggestion are pushed to the limit."

Directed by Marshall, Thinking in Person also features Melanie Crispin as The Assistant. Jules Fisher provides lighting design, and Alan E. Muraoka is the set designer.

Maven has been seen on television in "General Hospital" and "Top Chef Masters" as well as in series in Taiwan, Sweden, Norway, Finland, England and Canada, among others.

The performance schedule for Max Maven: Thinking in Person is Tuesdays-Wednesdays at 7 PM and Thursdays-Saturdays at 8 PM with matinees on Saturdays at 2 PM and Sundays at 3 PM.
