"The Broadway Experience" — which will allow students the chance to get an inside look at the requirements and demands of a career in the musical theatre — will run July 21-26 at The Baryshnikov Arts Center at 37 Arts. Students, press notes state, "will learn the skills necessary to become better, stronger performers by taking part in week-long intensive master classes and workshops that focus on singing, dancing and acting." Among the classes that will be offered are ballet, jazz, tap, swing, voice, acting, scene study, auditioning, choreography and wellness/nutrition.

The faculty includes such theatre actors as Julie Barnes (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Bahiyah Sayyed Gaines (The Little Mermaid), Ron De Jesus (Movin' Out), Justin Greer (The Producers), Matt Loher (Mary Poppins) and Maria Torres (Swing!).
