Random House Audio will release "Heartburn" in audio format for the very first time in July. Streep, who was a close friend of the late writer, worked with Ephron on the films "Heartburn," "Silkwood" and "Julie & Julia."

"Heartburn" is described as "Ephron's sidesplitting novel about the breakup of the perfect marriage. In this inspired confection of adultery, revenge, group therapy, and pot roast, she reminds us that comedy depends on anguish as surely as a proper gravy depends on flour and butter."

Random House Audio is also planning digital audio releases of Ephron's "Wallflower at the Orgy," "Crazy Salad" and "Scribble Scribble."

Ephron is represented on Broadway this season with her new play Lucky Guy, starring Academy Award winner Tom Hanks.
