The Wild Card Production of Glen Merzer's comedy, Anonymous will start previews May 16 at Off-Broadway's McGinn/Cazale Theatre. The show opens May 31.
Directed by Pamela Berlin, Anonymous deals with the mid-life issues of a struggling novelist who is motivated to take a job in advertising. Added to the mix are a neurotic nutritionist and a mafia heavy with aspirations in literature.
Casting for Anonymous includes Chip Zien (A New Brain, Falsettos, Into the Woods), Betsy Aidem, Peter Appel, David Arrow, Rosemary DeWitt and Kevin O'Rourke.
The production team comprises set designer Edward Gianfrancesco, costume designer Amela Baksic, lighting designer Chris Dallos and sound design by Aural Fixation.
