Arden will play Patrick, one of the members of an unconventional anger management group Sheen's character attends.

Sheen, who portrays a "former baseball player with anger issues," will also be joined in the comedy by Selma Blair, Shawnee Smith and Noureen DeWulf. The FX series has an initial 10-episode order.

"I'm thrilled to be joining such a stellar ensemble of actors and some of television's funniest minds on this new and hysterically wild venture," Arden told Playbill.com. "I can't wait for audiences to peek into our group therapy."

It's a busy time for the young actor, who said that he will also be featured in the new Kristin Chenoweth series "GCB," which premieres March 4 on ABC. "I am a recurring character who will surface later on in the first season, named Pastor Steve, who is a not altogether magnanimous preacher at the girls' rival church," Arden explained. "From the brilliant mind of Robert Harling, audiences are in for a treat."

Arden's screen credits also include "The Good Wife," "Off the Map," "Source Code," "The Forgotten," "Bones," "The Closer," "Kings," "Bride Wars," "The Cave Movie" and "Grey's Anatomy," among others.
