After a sold-out first edition in October 2012, the series will return to Joe's Pub and feature 15 world-premiere songs.

For the 7 PM concert, which benefits The Red Cross, musical theatre writers — ages 19-90, who were born everywhere from Kansas City to San Francisco to Montreal — will write a song about someone who changed their idea of New York City.

Contributing writers include Michael Arden, David Austin, Anna Ty Bergman and Alexander Sage Oyen, Nick Blaemire, Jeff Blumenkrantz, Joe Church, Michael Finke, Francesca Garrard, Amanda Green, Maribeth Graham and Dana Rowe, Doug Katsaros and Amanda Yesnowitz, Mike Pettry, Louis St. Louis, and Georgia Stitt.

Additional writers and performers will be announced at a later date.

The concert is created by Caleb Hoyer and Jennifer Ashley Tepper, creators of the If It Only Even Runs A Minute series.

Joe's Pub is located at 425 Lafayette Street. There is a $12 food/drink minimum. For more information and tickets, visit JoesPub.com
