Still at Risk, according to press notes, is described as such: "Kevin, a surviving activist from the front lines of the AIDS crisis, is struggling to find purpose in the current climate of greater gay rights. But times and attitudes have changed dramatically. Kevin’s activist spirit is aroused when a gala celebrating heroes of the crisis overlooks his deceased partner. Constantly crashing up against generational change and contemporary culture, Kevin risks doing everything wrong in his attempt to make things right."

"This play tells an important story that I’m excited to share with audiences," stated producer Kirdahy in an earlier statement. "With the generous assistance of Tom Viola and BC/EFA and this amazing cast, we are thrilled to welcome audiences to the wonderfully funny and challenging world of Still at Risk. And, of course, we are thrilled to promote and support the essential work of The Center."

The creative team includes Libby Unsworth (production stage manager), Tony Spinosa (production supervisor), Patrick Weaver (sound supervision), Seth Rettberg (assistant director) and Vishaal Reddy (stage directions).

There will be an informal reception with the cast and creative team following the reading.

Suggested donation for the event is $10. Reservations can be made at StillAtRisk@tomkirdahy.com. The recently renovated Center is located at 208 West 13th Street, New York.
