News Michael Brusasco, Tally Sessions, Deborah Tranelli, Tom White and More Cast in Off-Broadway Comedy Philosophy for Gangsters Casting has been announced for Liz Peak and Barry Peak's Philosophy for Gangsters, which is billed as "an irresponsible comedy about ideas, honor, and messy deaths" and will begin performances at The Beckett Theatre Feb. 1.

Directed by both Peaks, the production will officially open Feb. 4 at 7 PM. Performances continue through March 1.

The cast comprises Michael Brusasco, Kyle Robert Carter, David Demato, Shabazz Green, Bruno Iannone, Leajato Amara Robinson, Courtney Romano, Tally Sessions, Deborah Tranelli and Tom White.

In Philosophy for Gangsters, press notes state, "Mafia heiress Callie Rizzoli has her MBA. She’s bringing modern business efficiencies to her Family operation. But when she kidnaps a philosopher and he shoots to number one on the FBI’s 'Most Wanted List,' things start to get hilariously complicated."

The creative team features Julia Noulin-Mérat (scenic design), Sarah Cogan (costume design), Carl Wiemann (lighting design), M. Florian Staab (sound design) and Lauren Genutis (properties). Jessica Pollack is production stage manager.

Show times are Tuesday at 7 PM, Wednesday-Friday at 8 PM, Saturday at 2 PM and 8 PM and Sunday at 3 PM. Philosophy For Gangsters is being produced by Rotten Apples Theatrical, LLC.

Tickets are $61.25 and may be purchased online through Telecharge.com or by calling (212) 239-6200. They may also be obtained in person at the Theatre Row box office (410 West 42nd Street).
