The biggest movers of the week included trumpeter Wynton Marsalis's Live at the House of Tribes, which jumped from number nine to number five in its second week on the chart, and a compilation of New Orleans music on the Putumayo label, which moved number 15 to number 11. Vocalist Nnenna Feelon's Blueprint of a Lady moved from number 23 to number 13 in its third week on the chart.

Herbie Hancock's Possibilities stayed at number one on the contemporary-jazz chart for the second week in a row, with Najee's My Pount of View at number two and Euge Groove's Just Feels Right at number three.
