News Michael McKean, David Selby, Peter Weller Will Voice Animated Batman Film "The Dark Knight Returns" The Best Man star Michael McKean, who was recently injured when struck by a car on the Upper West Side, as well as theatre actors David Selby and Peter Weller will lend their voices to the upcoming animated adaptation of Frank Miller's 1986 Batman tale "The Dark Knight Returns," according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The adaptation, from Warner Premiere, DC Entertainment, Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Home Video, will be split into two films with part one released in the fall. Jay Oliva directs the project, which features a screenplay by Bob Goodman. "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns" will feature Weller as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Ariel Winter ("Modern Family") as Robin, Wade Williams ("Prison Break") as Harvey Dent/Two-Face and McKean as Dr. Wolper.
