News Michael Pennington, Hadley Fraser and Tom Bateman Cast in Opening Productions of Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company Casting has been announced for the opening productions of the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company's season at the West End's Garrick Theatre: Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale and Terrence Rattigan's Harlequinade that will play in repertory, beginning performances Oct. 17 for a run through Jan. 16, 2016.

Joining the previously announced Branagh and Judi Dench are veteran Shakespearean Michael Pennington, popular musical actor Hadley Fraser (most recently in City of Angels at the Donmar Warehouse, and whose previous credits include the 25th anniversary concert staging of The Phantom of the Opera as Raoul, and The Pirate Queen on Broadway) and rising star Tom Bateman (who played Shakespeare in the stage premiere of Shakespeare in Love). Also in the company are Jessie Buckley, Jack Colgrave Hirst, Zoe Rainey, Miranda Raison, John Shrapnel, Kathryn Wilder and Jimmy Yuill.

In a press statement, Branagh commented, "This is a formidable group of actors - they combine fantastic experience in Shakespeare and comedy, with a youthful energy and brilliance that I'm excited to welcome to our season."
