Directed by Dexter Bullard, the production will officially open Off-Broadway Nov. 14.
The two-member cast features Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon as Felix Artifex and Mierka Girten as Esther.
"Producer or politician?" ask press notes. "Is he defending his life or fighting to get one last project off the ground? Either way, Mistakes Were Made finds Felix completely oblivious to the world collapsing around him."
The play received its world premiere at A Red Orchid Theater in 2009 with the same cast and director.
Producers are Scott Morfee, Jean Doumanian and Tom Wirtshafter in association with Chicago's A Red Orchid Theatre.
