Lee earned her Tony nominations playing the lead in the 1974 musical Seesaw and in the 2000 comedy The Tale of the Allergist's Wife. She made her Broadway debut in 1960's Vintage '60 and was a replacement Rosemary Pilkington in the Broadway production of How To Succeed before being cast in the role for the film.

Also joining the cast will be Fred Applegate, recently on Broadway in The Last Ship, as the Wizard of Oz. His first day will be June 29.

Lee appeared earlier this month in a club show, “Nobody Does it Like Me: The Music of Cy Coleman” at 54 Below in New York.

She has extensive TV credits, notably her Emmy-nominated role starring as Karen McKenzie for all 14 seasons of CBS’S “Knots Landing.” She played Diana Devereaux in a TV adaptation of the Broadway musical Of Thee I Sing with Carroll O'Connor.

Film credits include Disney's "The Love Bug," Carl Reiner’s "The Comic" with Dick Van Dyke, and "Along Came Polly" with Ben Stiller and Jennifer Aniston.
