News Michelle Obama Picks Songs from Wicked, Hamilton and Dreamgirls for Day of the Girl Playlist First Lady Michelle Obama has released her first-ever Spotify playlist in celebration of International Day of the Girl. International Day of the Girl, which was observed Oct. 11, was created "to recognize girls' rights and the unique challenges girls face around the world."
