News Michigan Critic Fran Rogers Krajewski is Dead at 64 Fran Rogers Krajewski, a Michigan drama critic whose work appeared in The Flint Journal, died Aug. 19 in Ann Arbor, MI, after a bout with a rare autoimmune disease. She was 64.

Fran Rogers Krajewski, a Michigan drama critic whose work appeared in The Flint Journal, died Aug. 19 in Ann Arbor, MI, after a bout with a rare autoimmune disease. She was 64. Since 1982, Ms. Krajewski regularly reported about and reviewed national tours, Detroit-area theatre and Ontario festivals for The Journal. She was also active with Flint Youth Theatre, the state's major nonprofit devoted solely to family-audience fare. She and her husband, Harry, sat on the board of the Friends of Youth Theatre for several years.

Ms. Krajewski also acted with Flint Youth Theatre, appearing in Trace Titanic. She was also involved with Flint Community Players, the Musical Tent professional troupe and the now-defunct New Victory Supper Theatre.
