News   Midtown International Theatre Festival Awards Presented Aug. 30
 
The 2009 Midtown International Theatre Festival Awards, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the festival, are presented at New World Stages Aug. 30.

The 7:30 PM ceremony, which offers awards in 20 categories, will also feature entertainment from this year's festival productions. Set to perform are Exposed! The Curious Case of Shiloh and Zahara; A Night in the Kremlin featuring Jeff Essex as Harpo Marx and Angus Hepburn as Joseph Stalin; Seal Songs; That's Showbiz!; and The Sword Politik.

In addition, the MITF Awards will also poll attendees for the Audience Favorite Award, which will be announced at the conclusion of the ceremony.
