Armstrong is currently playing St. Jimmy in American Idiot, the musical based on Green Day's album of the same name. The bandmates are joined onstage by John Gallagher, Jr., Stark Sands, Michael Esper, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Christina Sanjous, Jenna de Waal and the rest of the cast.
