As previously reported, Kirsten Sanderson will direct the Southern California premiere of the 70-minute play that will run Oct. 2-Nov. 14. The drama, which will officially open Oct. 9, imagines the correspondence between Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh and acclaimed author Gore Vidal. Farrell, a veteran of "M*A*S*H" will star as writer James (based on Vidal), and "True Blood" star Parrack will portray Harrison (based on McVeigh).

According to the Blank, Terre Haute imagines "four prison house conversations between the nation’s deadliest domestic terrorist and one of the world’s most famous and opinionated gadflies. The names have been changed, the ideas have not. This intimate and fascinating portrait of two men, both firebrands who say and do as they believe, delves deeply into the idea of what it means to be American and what one believes they must do for their country."

The production will have set design by Matt Turner, costume design by Bethany Jane Bohatila, lighting design by Cameron Zetty and sound design is by Warren Davis. Noah Wyle, Daniel Henning and Stacy Reed Payton produce.

Previously developed as part of the Sundance Institute Theatre Lab, Terre Haute made its stage premiere as part of the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and transferred to West End's Trafalgar Studios in May 2007. The play received its New York debut in 2009 at 59E59 Theaters.
