That Championship Season, Jason Miller's Pulitzer Prize-winning play about the 20th reunion of a championship high school basketball team, is having its own reunion with New York. Second Stage Theatre will revive the show starting March 26 and opening mid-April.

That Championship Season, Jason Miller's Pulitzer Prize-winning play about the 20th reunion of a championship high school basketball team, is having its own reunion with New York. Second Stage Theatre will revive the show starting March 26 and opening mid-April. Dylan Baker (La Bete, the film "Happiness") , Ray Baker, James Gammon (Buried Child), Michael O'Keefe, and Vyto Ruginis star. Scott Ellis directs.

Second Stage's revival of That Championship Season is scheduled to begin performances March 26, with an official opening set for mid-April.

Originally produced at the Public Theater in 1972, it transferred to Broadway later that year and played a total of 844 performances on and Off-Broadway. The original cast featured Walter McGinn, Charles Durning, Michael McGuire, Paul Sorvino and Richard A. Dysart.
