PlayBlog Million Dollar Quartet Performs on "Letterman" (Video) The cast of Million Dollar Quartet appeared on “Late Night with David Letterman” May 10 to perform a medley of rock ’n’ roll classics from the show, which is based on a 1956 record jam session that featured Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis. The show recently received three Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical.


Lance Guest (as Cash), Rob Lyons (as Perkins), Eddie Clendening (as Presley) and Levi Kreis (a Featured Actor Tony nominee for his performance as Lewis) are featured in the “Letterman” set.  The show’s cast, directed by Eric Schaeffer, also features Hunter Foster as record mogul Sam Phillips and Elizabeth Stanley as Dyanne.

Million Dollar Quartet is currently running at the Nederlander Theatre.
