At New World, current home of Off-Broadway's Million Dollar Quartet, performers will have access to a piano on stage and appropriate equipment to plug in their own guitars.
The lounge will open at 7 PM with happy hour beginning at 8 PM; performances will begin at 10:30 PM. "Open Mike Night with Rob Lyons" will be held the third Wednesday of every month.
Lyons created the role of Carl Perkins in Million Dollar Quartet in the Chicago, New York and London productions. As a singer-songwriter, Lyons has shared the stage with musicians whose projects include Pearl Jam, Harvey Danger and Santana, among others.
