Milwaukee Repertory Theatre is reviving the 1997-98 conceptual rhythm and blues revue, From My Hometown, Jan. 21-March 12. Hits made popular by Jackie Wilson, Otis Redding, The Isely Brothers, The Impressions and many others will echo in the Stackner Cabaret of the Rep's multi- house facility. The show, about three performers (one from Detroit, another Memphis and another from Philadelphia), was conceived and directed by Lee Summers, and co-written by Summers, Herbert Rawlings Jr. and Ty Stephens.

A change in the availability of rights for songs made popular by Nat King Cole thwarted the announced revue, The House That Nat Built, at the Rep's Stackner.

Tickets for From My Hometown are $15-$23. Call (414) 224-9490 for information.
