Theatre de la Jeune Lune, known for its international influences and buoyant physical stagings, revisits its 1989 hit, Cyrano, based on the Edmond Rostand romantic classic, Nov. 19-Jan. 31 in Minneapolis.

Dominique Serrand, the company’s co-artistic director, recreates his 1989 role for the new staging, directed by co-artistic director Barbra Berlovitz.

Actress-singer Norah Long plays Roxanne, the object of Cyrano’s affection, and Joel Spence plays pretty but shallow Christian, who also loves Roxanne. Also in the company are ensemble members Robert Rosen, Vincent Gracieux, Steven Epp, Catherine Johnson and Rebecca Myers.

Original music is by Michael Koerner. Designers are Serrand and Epp (sets), Sonya Berlovits (costumes) and Rosen (lighting).
