Mo Rocca, the comedian who’s featured on National Public Radio’s Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me, will interview four-time Tony nominee Judy Kuhn before a live audience in New York City October 22 for his video-audio podcast In Your Face—New York.

Kuhn is also scheduled to sing. Rocca’s podcast looks at life in New York and tries to capture “the spirit, the energy, the music, noise and creativity of this capital of the world.” The live performance, which is open to the public, will take place at 5 PM at Merkin Concert Hall, 129 West 67th Street, in Manhattan.

Other guests for the October 22 podcast include wine expert Blanca Bosker, The Daily Show writer Kevin Bleyer, The New Yorker magazine writer Patricia Marx, and others.

Tickets for In Your Face cost $25–$35; $20 student tickets are available in person with ID. Previous episodes have featured Sarah Jones, Bob Balaban, New Yorker cartoonist Roz Chast and WNYC’s Brian Lehrer.

As a performer, Rocca appeared on Broadway as a replacement in the original run of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Kuhn earned her four Tony nominations as the original Fantine in Les Misérables as the original Florence in Chess, as Amalia Balash in the 1994 revival of She Loves Me, and as Helen, the mother, in the original cast of Fun Home.

Kuhn has been a special guest performer on Playbill’s Broadway on the High Seas cruises. Cabins are available for Broadway on the Danube River with Michael Feinstein for November 3–13, also featuring Rachel Bay Jones, Julia Murney, Christopher Fitzgerald, Laura Osnes, Marc Kudisch, Brandon Uranowitz, and Seth Rudetsky.

Tickets are also now on sale for Playbill’s Broadway on the High Seas July 2018 cruise to Iceland, accompanied by Judy Kuhn, Christine Ebersole, Rob McClure, Jarrod Spector, Carmen Cusack, and Sierra Boggess.
