After extending to the last possible performance at the Vineyard Theatre, Fully Committed rises again Dec. 14 at Off-Broadway's Cherry Lane Theatre. The Nicholas Martin-helmed comedy will have a second press opening Dec. 16.

The Cherry Lane had been a rumored venue for the solo show's transfer, but Fully Committed had to wait for the Nov. 28 closing of the musical Stars In Your Eyes.

Of note are the new producers on board for this commercial transfer: star Mark Setlock, an original company member of Rent, will be supported in his Committed turn by former castmates Adam Pascal and Jesse L. Martin. Also producing are David Stone and Susan Quint Gallin.

Acting Fully Committed is no stretch for Setlock -- his real life experiences as an out-of-work actor desperately trying to find tables for a series of wealthy and outlandish patrons at a trendy Manhattan restaurant were the basis for Mode's play. Her other credits include writing for TV's "Cosby," HBO, Nickelodeon and Disney.

As well as appearing in the workshop production of Rent, Setlock understudied the lead role of Angel with the original Broadway company, later returning to the show in the ensemble as Gordon, Mr. Grey and others. Other credits include stints at Primary Stages, HERE, NADA and Ontological/Hysteric. Director Martin returns from the Williamstown Theatre Festival where he helmed Camino Real with Ethan Hawke and Chaucer in Rome. He won the 1999 Obie Award for Christopher Durang's Betty's Summer Vacation and also directed Bosoms and Neglect at the Signature and Full Gallop.

Fully Committed first opened Sept. 30 with fully-committed reviews, extending, at the time, through Oct. 30 at Off-Broadway's Vineyard.
