News Molaskey to Perform at Long Wharf Gala in June Broadway veteran and cabaret performer Jessica Molaskey will headline the Long Wharf Theatre's Take the Stage gala June 11 in New Haven.

The 5:30 PM gala will feature dinner and a performance by Molaskey in newly designed spaces at the theatre that were created for the event by Frank Alberino.

Jessica Molaskey has performed on Broadway in the original productions of Parade, A Man of No Importance, Dream, Tommy, City of Angels, the revival of Sunday in the Park with George, as well as Jason Robert Brown's Songs for a New World Off-Broadway. Molaskey earned raves for her sold-out run at New York's Algonquin Hotel with her husband, jazz musician John Pizzarelli. Molaskey is the recipient of the 2007 Nightlife Award for Outstanding Female Vocalist.

Her albums include "Sitting in Limbo," "A Kiss To Build A Dream On," "Make Believe," "Good Day" and "Pentimento." Molaskey is the co-host of the nationally syndicated radio program, "Radio Deluxe" with John Pizzarelli.
