On Nov. 19 Molina will appear in both the 5 and 9 PM performances of the hit show, which recently extended its limited engagement through Dec. 31. Molina's appearance comes after a live challenge on his talk show when Latinologues co-star Eugenio Derbez dared the TV host to make his Broadway debut.
Latinologues — created and written by Rick Najera — is a collection of monologues about the Latino experience in America. The Broadway company features Najera, Eugenio Derbez, Rene Lavan and Shirley A. Rumierk. Cheech Marin directs. (As previously announced, Jaime Camil, who starred in the out-of-town tryouts of the new musical The Mambo Kings, will join the cast of Latinologues Nov. 25.)
Latinologues plays Tuesday-Friday evenings at 8 PM, Saturdays at 5 and 9 PM and Sundays at 3 and 7 PM. Tickets are available by calling (212) 239-6200. The Helen Hayes Theatre is located at 240 West 44th Street.
