News   Molly Pope and Laurie Sutton Are Sisters of Gallery Players' Wonderful Town Molly Pope and Laurie Sutton will share a Greenwich Village apartment in the Gallery Players production of Wonderful Town, which will begin performances April 28.

Mark Haborth directs the classic about two sisters who get more than they bargained for when they move from Ohio to the heart of 1930's New York City. It has music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, and a book by Jerome Chodorov and Joseph A. Fields.

The Gallery Players production will run through May 20. Heather Siobhan produces.

Actress and acclaimed nightlife singer Pope will portray Ruth, opposite Sutton as Eileen. The company also includes Brian Bailey, Monica Bradley, Nathan Brisby, Ronn Burton. Mark Cajigao, Angela Dirksen, Brad Giovanine, A J Hughes, Maureen Kelley, Adam Kemmerer, Matthew Warner Kiernan, Maggie Marino, Alida Michal, Alex Pagels, Will Roland and Lindsay Sutton.

Here's how Wonderful Town is billed: "This delightful staple of the musical theatre canon is about the adventures and misadventures of two sisters who move from small-town Ohio to the bohemia of 1935 Greenwich Village. Eileen is gorgeous, sweet and an aspiring actress with men falling at her feet. Ruth, while a gifted writer, is average, brazen and has a talent for repelling gentlemen callers."

Kevin Lawson will musical direct, with choreography by Elyse Daye Hart and Trey Mitchell. Costumes are designed by Jevyn Nelms, the set is designed by William Davis, lighting is designed by Scott Cally, the sound is designed by Josh Millican and the properties master is Sara Slagle.
