The Summergarden Series at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, given in conjunction with Juilliard and Jazz at Lincoln Center, has expanded to eight concerts this year, from six last year.

Members of the New Juilliard Ensemble will perform the New York premieres of chamber music by composers of diverse styles; Jazz at Lincoln Center presents four artists, each of whose concerts will feature at least one world premiere.

The series, which offers four jazz and four Juilliard concerts, runs July 8 through August 26. Programming details will be announced in June.

All Summergarden concerts are free and take place on Sundays at 8 p.m. in MoMA's Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden. The series has run in conjunction with The Juilliard School, with Joel Sachs as artistic director, since 1993.
