Aiken, who made his Broadway debut in Monty Python's Spamalot, performed "This Is the Moment" and "Home," while Memphis Tony nominee Glover belted out "Love Will Stand" from that Tony-winning musical. The cast of Newsies also delighted the sold-out crowd with a concert version of the new musical's "Seize the Day."

The one-night-only event, which celebrated the Family Equality Council's 30th anniversary, also honored Tony-winning Normal Heart producer Daryl Roth and Freedom to Marry CEO Scott Davenport.

Roth was presented with the Hostetter-Habib Family Award for her continued support of the LGBT community. Broadway producer Jordan Roth made a surprise appearance in order to present his mother with her award.

Singer-actress Glover added, "The Family Quality Council is such an outstanding organization, so committed to strengthening our communities. I was overjoyed to celebrate its 30th anniversary."
