The 26th Festival International de Jazz de Montr_al will include performances by saxophonist Sonny Rollins, bassist Dave Holland, and guitarist Pat Metheny, the festival announced.

The festival, which runs June 30-July 10, includes about 150 indoor concerts. Another 350 free outdoor events will be announced on June 7.

Among the highlights of the festival are a series of five appearances by Metheny, who will perform with his trio-mates, Scott Colley and Antonio Sanchez; with bassist Charlie Haden in a performance of their 1997 suite Beyond the Missouri Sky; and with vibraphonist Gary Burton and bassist Steve Swallow, among other musicians.

Other musicians on the schedule include pianist Geri Allen, trumpeter Roy Hargrove, saxophonist Charles Lloyd, pianist Randy Weston, guitarist Bill Frisell, pianist Bill Charlap, and saxophonist Dewey Redman.
