News More Broadway Stars Join Team to Create 4 New Musicals in 24 Hours A team of more than 100 Broadway artists will cast, write, compose, rehearse, tech and perform four original musicals as part of the seventh 24 Hour Musicals, presented by The 24 Hour Company and Off-Broadway theater company Exchange. The April 13 event will feature a host of Broadway and TV stars. Bebe Neuwirth (Chicago), Edie Falco ("Nurse Jackie") and Aaron Lazar (The Last Ship) have joined the previously announced Tituss Burgess ("Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt") Lea DeLaria (The Rocky Horror Show), Eden Espinosa (Wicked) and others.

Participants will meet on April 12 and are set to present their original new shows the following evening at the Grammercy Theater in New York. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Exchange's summer program, which nurtures the development of new work from around the world.

Other stars slated to feature include Randy Harrison (Showtime's "Queer As Folk"), Alicia Witt ("Justifed"), Ari Graynor ("For a Good Time, Call..."), Christine Lahti ("Chicago Hope"), Ashley Fink ("Glee"), Shanola Hampton ("Shameless"), Julian Fleisher (February House), Jonathan Marc Sherman, Daniel Goldstein, Joe Kinosian and Kellen Blair, Gordon Greenberg and Shae Sullivan.

Along with the newly-added Mike Daisey (The Agony and Ecstasy of Steve Jobs), Kelly McCreary ("Grey's Anatomy"), Stephanie D'Abruzzo (Avenue Q), Michael Campayno ("The Sound of Music Live!") Pamela Winslow (Into the Woods), Ashlie Atkinson ("The Wolf of Wall Street"), Christopher Oscar Peña ("Jane the Virgin"), Lisa Lambert (The Drowsy Chaperone), Amanda Green (Hands on a Hardbody), Tim Rosser and Charles Sohne ("The Boy Who Danced on Air").

“Every year, a wonderfully talented group of the best from stage and screen come together to attempt the impossible,” said Ari Edelson, the artistic director of the Exchange and the Orchard Project in a press statement.
