Television personality Annabelle Gurwitch ("Dinner and a Movie," "Not Necessarily the News"), whose stage credits Joe and Betty, Uncommon Women and Others, talks of being fired by her idol Woody Allen during rehearsals of the Off-Broadway staging of Writer's Block. "After writing and performing a piece about the experience, many others were inspired to tell their tales," promotional materials explain. Eric Simonson (who comically dramatized his experiences with Paul Simon's The Capeman) and Ron Orbach (who spoke of his bad luck with The Producers and Dance of the Vampires) will once again return with actor Fisher Stevens to spin their tales of woe and unemployment.

They are joined by John Pankow (Barbra's Wedding, "Mad About You"), Charlayne Woodard (In Real Life), Ann Magnuson (Rave Mom, "Making Mr. Right"), David Rakoff (author of "Fraud"), Judy Gold (HBO's "At the Multiplex"), playwright Richard Vetere (One Shot, One Kill) and journalist Anthony Haden Gest. The show will play at Second Stage Theatre, 307 West 43 St. (just off Eighth Ave.) as part of the company's Monday Night Live series. Tickets ($30) are available by calling (212) 246-4422.
