News More Magic to Do: Ben Vereen Concerts Will Play Vermont, South Carolina, Kansas, Canada and More Tony Award winner Ben Vereen, of Pippin and Jesus Christ Superstar fame, has announced additional dates for his ongoing 2010-2011 concert tour.

The actor-singer recently guest starred on TV's "How I Met Your Mother," and will be a part of Hartford Stages' November reading of Fetch Clay, Make Man, directed by Des McAnuff.

In concert, the entertainer will open a new performing arts center in Vermont, perform with the Edmonton Symphony and play historic Town Hall in New York, among other engagements.

A Tony Award winner for Bob Fosse's Pippin, Vereen has also starred in Broadway's Wicked, Fosse, Chicago, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair, Jelly's Last Jam, Grind and I'm Not Rappaport. He recently starred in the new play Fetch Clay, Make Man at the McCarter Theatre. He appeared in the TV miniseries "Roots" and in Bob Fosse's film "All That Jazz."
