LOS ANGELES -- Back Stage West, co-sponsor with its sister publication The Hollywood Reporter of "Actorfest '99--A Day for Actors," has announced additional participants in the one-day trade show to be held Sat. April 17 at Hilton Universal City & Towers in Universal City, 9 AM-4 PM.
Three simultaneous sessions with casting-directors have been scheduled, plus three panels with well-known actors and a panel of Hollywood's top agents. There will also be a full-service exhibitor floor, with special prize giveaways highlighting the day's agenda of seminars, casting sessions and panels.
Among the casting directors taking part are Mark Teschner ("General Hospital" & "Port Charles"), Beth Hymson-Ayer ("Xena: Warrior Princess"), John Levey ("China Beach"), Lila Selik ("The Boys of Summer") and Richard De Lancy ("Unsolved Mysteries").
Such actors as Adam Springfield ("Wishbone"), Chris Owens ("X-Files") and Roark Critchlow ("Days of Our Lives") will be on hand as well. "Dharma & Greg" cast members Susan Sullivan, Mimi Kennedy and Shae D'Lyn will participate in a panel moderated by El Entertainment's Todd Newton.
