The disc, to be released in early summer, will be recorded during the Callaways' May 3-7 engagement at New York City's Birdland. PS Classics co-founder Tommy Krasker and Bart Migal will serve as album producers.

PS Classics is accepting preorders at its website (psclassics.com) beginning April 28.

Boom!, "celebrating the soundtrack of the sisters' childhood with unforgettable songs from the 1960s and '70s," according to PS Classics, premiered in 2010 at New York's Town Hall. The show, "a joyous, exultant evening — sometimes zany, often moving, always surprising," according to the label, features songs made famous by Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Barbra Streisand, Jimmy Webb, Stevie Wonder and others. Expect the songs "A Case of You," "Yesterday," "You've Got a Friend," "Always Something There to Remind Me" and "Blowin' in the Wind," among others.

The Callaways are backed by musical director, arranger and pianist Alex Rybeck, bassist Jared Egan, and drummer Ron Tierno, with Rybeck and Egan doubling on background vocals.

Ann told Playbill.com, "Liz and I are so excited to record our second live CD after the success of Sibling Revelry. Working with Alex on choosing and crafting arrangements of these iconic songs from our childhood has been a creative joy. And we're very grateful to Tommy Krasker and Philip Chaffin [co-founders of PS Classics] for so quickly inspiring the support of our team of investors. The enthusiasm for this project has been amazing." Singer Ann Hampton Callaway is also an acclaimed songwriter, whose works have been performed by Barbra Streisand, Patti LuPone and many others. For her Broadway bow in Swing!, Callaway earned a Tony nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. Her many recordings include "At Last," "Blues in the Night," "Slow" and "To Ella with Love." Callaway is also a recipient of 14 Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) Awards.

Emmy Award winner Liz Callaway made her Broadway debut in the original cast of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along. For her work in the musical Baby, she received a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. Her other Broadway credits include Miss Saigon, Cats and The Look of Love. She has provided the singing voice for many animated movies including "Anastasia," "The Swan Princess" and "Lion King 2: Simba's Pride." Her solo recordings include "Passage of Time," "The Beat Goes On," "Anywhere I Wander—Liz Callaway Sings Frank Loesser" and "The Story Goes On."
