News Morgan Freeman, Melissa Leo, Andrea Riseborough Will Join Tom Cruise for "Oblivion" Thriller Film Tony Award nominee Morgan Freeman and stage and screen actors Melissa Leo and Andrea Riseborough will join Oscar winner Tom Cruise ("Rock of Ages") in the upcoming Universal Pictures thriller "Oblivion," according to Deadline.com.

The film, which recently began production in Baton Rouge, takes place on post-apocalyptic earth. Joseph Kolinski directs "Oblivion," which also features actress Olga Kurylenko.

Peter Chernin and Dylan Clark are producers alongside Barry Levine and Kolinski.

Freeman received a Tony Award nomination in 1978 for his performance in The Mighty Gents. He has also been seen on Broadway in The Country Girl, The Gospel at Colonus, Purlie, The Dozens and Hello, Dolly! He won an Academy Award for his work in Clint Eastwood's "Million Dollar Baby."

Leo, who won an Oscar for her performance in "The Fighter," has been seen in the MCC production of The Distance From Here. Riseborough appeared Off-Broadway in MCC's The Pride.
