Morillo, who was most recently represented Off-Broadway with his play Angry Young Women in Low Rise Jeans With High Class Issues, centers his latest work on "Sean and Amy, your typical co-habitating, Catholic/Jewish, twentysomething couple living in Manhattan," according to production notes. "They work hard, love each other and share common goals in life. Well, sort of. After nearly three years together, Amy wants to get married but Sean does not believe in the institution. Tonight is the night when they will settle the marriage question once and for all. They will both bring their "A" game and the gloves will come off. Sean will try to talk her out of it. Amy will try to talk him into it. Will they break up? Will they keep going on the path they're on? Will they climb aboard the 'Marriage Hearse'?" Original Angry Young Women cast members Nicholas J. Coleman and Jessica Durdock star as Sean and Amy, under the direction of playwright Matt Morillo. Set design for All Aboard the Marriage Hearse is by Mark Marcante and lighting is design by Amith A. Chandrashaker.

Morillo's first work for the stage, Angry Young Women in Low Rise Jeans With High Class Issues, was produced by the Theater for the New City for a limited run in January 2007 and made an Off-Broadway transfer to the Players Theatre in July 2007, where it ran for 51 performances.

All Aboard the Marriage Hearse plays the Theater for the New City through Jan. 27. The Theatre for the New City is located at 155 First Avenue in Manhattan. Tickets are available by calling (212) 868-4444 or by visiting www.smarttix.com.
