News Moritz Von Stuelpnagel Will Direct Reading of New Political Farce The Doppelgänger Studio 42 will present a reading of the new political farce The Doppelgänger by Matthew-Lee Erlbach and directed by Moritz Von Stuelpnagel (Hand to God, upcoming Verité at LCT3) Oct. 5 at 7 PM.

Here's how the play is billed, "When copper magnate Thomas Irdley suffers a heart attack moments before an international summit held at his estate mansion in Bangui, C.A.R, his old friend and lookalike — a kindergarten teacher who has left his job to discover himself on a walkabout — is thrust into a colorful group of international elites, sex-hungry diplomats, a stairlift and a high-stakes game of regional politics."

The cast will feature Brad Bellamy, Aimee Cucchiaro, Aaron Costa Ganis, Rachel Mewbron, Eugene Oh ("Veep"), Natalie Saibel, Carolyn Michelle Smith (Romeo & Juliet), Nick Westrate (Casa Valentina) and more.

The reading is free of charge and will take place at ART/NY, Third Floor, Studio B (520 Eighth Avenue).
