Robin Morse and Lizbeth Mackay will lead the cast of Lips, a new political comedy by Constance Congdon which will play Off-Broadway's Primary Stages April 14-May 16 (opening April 28). Congdon is best known for Tales of the Lost Formicans, which was performed in New York in 1990. Other plays include Casanova and Dog Opera, both for the NY Shakespeare Festival, and Losing Father's Body.

Greg Leaming, who will direct, has staged several plays at Portland Stage Company, where he was artistic director from 1992 to 1996. Among them were the premieres of Jeffrey Hatcher's Turn of the Screw and Congdon's Losing Father's Body. Screw is currently playing at Primary Stages, in a production starring Rocco Sisto.

In Lips, the U.S. Government has offered to cut the jail term of Rachel, a computer hacker, if she helps manufacture a scandal in which the first woman President is seduced. She is soon caught in a web of blackmail, corruption and deceit.

Also in the cast is Stephen Barker Turner.
