The Texas engagement by TUTS plays the outdoor Miller Theatre July 18-23, followed by a run at Atlanta's Fox Theatre July 26-31.

The TUTS run is a rare free show for audiences. TUTS annually produces a free show at the Miller "as a way to give back to the Houston community for its support of TUTS," a spokesperson said. The Miller is where TUTS started in 1968. TUTS has produced 46 free shows outdoors since then and is the only theatre company in Houston to annually produce at the Miller since it opened in 1968.

Burke Moses recently starred as Adam in the Goodspeed Musicals production of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Earlier this year he starred as The Beast in the Theater of the Stars production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast in Atlanta opposite Christy Carlson Romano. He starred as Captain Von Trapp in the 2003 regional tour of The Sound of Music produced by Theater of the Stars. Moses created the role of Gaston in the Broadway (1994), L.A. and London productions of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. His other Broadway credits include the role of Petruchio in Kiss Me, Kate, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, and a leading role in The Frogs with Nathan Lane at Lincoln Center Theater.

Teri Dale Hansen starred as Guenevere in Camelot with Robert Goulet in last year's Theater of the Stars regional tour. She made her Broadway debut in The Boys From Syracuse and then starred in the Harold Prince version of Show Boat as Magnolia in both the first national tour and in London's West End.

The Music Man (1957) is composer-lyricist-librettist Meredith Willson's beloved slice of Americana about a traveling salesman who sells band instruments and lessons — and flees with the money. He gets his foot caught in the door in River City, IA, where he encounters a certain Marian. The score includes "Goodnight My Someone," "(Ya Got) Trouble," "Till There Was You," "Seventy-Six Trombones" and "Gary, Indiana." Norb Joerder directs and choreographs the new production. Leo Carusone is the musical director. Lighting design is by John McLain and sound design is by Peter Fitzgerald.
