Shirley MacLaine won an Oscar for playing the role on screen opposite Debra Winger as her daughter. The film won the 1983 Academy Award for Best Picture.
Additional casting will be announced.
Performances of Terms of Endearment are set to begin October 29, for a limited engagement scheduled to run through December 11. Michael Parva directs for The Directors Company at 59E59 Theaters Off-Broadway.
