Mother Courage, one of Brecht's best known works, concerns the title tradeswoman and her three children, who are all lost to the war off which she cunningly makes her living. The play communicates the enduring nature of war and conflict, and the compromising and corrupting effect it has on the populace who live along with it.
The piece will be directed by Christopher McElroen.
Performances will be at the HSA Theater, 645 St. Nicholas Avenue.
