The epic romance will be the first production to premiere following the renovation of Hartford Stage's Church Street home. Antony and Cleopatra will run Oct. 7-Nov. 7. Mulgrew, who will appear as Cleopatra, previously collaborated with Landau on Charles Mee’s Iphigenia 2.0 at the Signature Theatre Company in 2007. Her performance as Clytemnestra earned the actress an Obie Award.

She starred in the Hartford Stage production of Matthew Lombardo's Tea at Five. Mulgrew's stage appearances also include Equus, Our Leading Lady, Black Comedy, Titus Andronicus and The Exonerated. She is well known for her role as Captain Kathryn Janeway in "Star Trek: Voyager" and has also been seen on screen in "A Stranger Is Watching, "Ryan's Hope," "Mrs. Columbo" and "Black Donnellys."

Landau most recently staged the Broadway production of Tracy Letts' Superior Donuts. She received Drama Desk Award nominations for her staging of the Adam Guettel musical Floyd Collins at Playwrights Horizons in 1996. Landau staged the Broadway revival of Bells Are Ringing and is a member of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company.
