News Muny's 90th Season to Feature Producers, Saigon and Magic Musical Revue The Mel Brooks-Thomas Meehan musical The Producers will kick off the 2008 summer season at the St. Louis Muny, the nation's oldest and largest outdoor theatre.

The Producers, which concerns producer Max Bialystock and his hapless accountant Leo Bloom, will play the Muny June 16-22. The season will also include My Fair Lady (July 7-13), Miss Saigon (July 21-27), My One and Only (July 28-Aug. 3) and Fiddler on the Roof (Aug. 4-10). One other musical, scheduled to run June 23-29, will be announced at a later date.

The 90th season at the outdoor venue will also boast the musical revue 90 Years of Muny Magic. The production, according to the official Muny website, will take audiences "on a musical journey from grand opera and operettas to rock musicals." Performance dates are July 14-20.

New season tickets for the St. Louis venue will go on sale March 29.

The theatre regularly attracts Broadway talent. Last season featured performances by Georgia Engel, Liz Callaway, Will Chase, Kate Baldwin, Lewis Stadlen, Telly Leung, Randy Graff and more.
