, Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner's First Date are among the titles in Actors' Playhouse's 2014-15 season.

Murder Ballad, which was seen Off-Broadway last summer at the Union Square Theatre, will run Oct. 8-Nov. 2. Murder Ballad was conceived by Jonathan Larson Award winner and two-time Susan Smith Blackburn Prize finalist Jordan with book and lyrics by Jordan and music and lyrics by indie rock singer/songwriter Nash. First Date, which features a book by Winsberg
 and music and lyrics by Zachary and Weiner, will run March 18-April 12, 2015. The musical, setting up serial-dater Casey with tightly wound Aaron, opened on Broadway last summer at the Longacre Theatre, where it played through Jan. 5.

The season also includes Miracle on South Division Street by Tom Dudzick
 (Dec. 3-28); Ragtime, featuring a book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens (Jan. 28-Feb. 22, 2015); The Book Club Play by Karen Zacarias (May 13-June 7, 2015); and Unnecessary Farce by Paul Slade Smith (July 15-Aug. 9, 2015).
