The 7 PM evening will be held at the famed jazz club Birdland on West 44th Street. Songwriters Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich will also be joined by vocalist Scott Coulter with Matt Scharfglass on bass, Mike Croiter on drums and Christopher Sung on guitar. Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich were honored with the ASCAP Foundation Richard Rodgers New Horizons Theatre Award. They are also the recipients of several Bistro and MAC Awards, and their tunes have been embraced by Kristin Chenoweth (she performed their song "Taylor, the Latte Boy" on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show and recently at Carnegie Hall), Jekyll & Hyde's Christiane Noll (she recorded "Taylor" on her solo disc), Avenue Q's Ann Harada and John Tartaglia, Saturday Night Fever's Paige Price and Dance of the Vampires' Max von Essen. Their work is now available for all, courtesy of a new 318-page tome — "Goldrich and Heisler: Songbook Volume 1" — that features 32 of their songs.
