When all August performances of the Actor's Express production of Steve Murray's Rescue & Recovery sold out, the Atlanta, GA company added four more weeks to the run of this raunchy comedy-drama. However, those who keep putting off seeing Murray's erotic piece can't count on yet another reprieve. The show must close Dec. 11.

The world premiere of Murray's erotic piece opened July 11, five months to the day before the closing date and was initially scheduled to end Aug. 29.

The show's Atlanta-based producer, Keith Degi, is targeting an off Broadway run for the play, possibly as early as spring 2000. David Bell would co-produce the New York staging, with Nancy Gibbs already signed on as general manager.
